Do squirrels make goods pets?

Plz explain a little why or why not. Do squirrels make goods pets?
No... Although squirrels can, and do live in captivity. It is an unnatural environment for them. They need to run and climb. They make poor house pets since their sharp claws, and teeth can do a great deal of damage. They can even harm a human unintentionally. It would be cruel to keep a wild animal caged where it cannot mate or interact with other animals. On the other hand, squirrels kept in a cage for study or treatment will often live longer then their wild counterpart, since there are no worries about food, water, or weather. Most Cities, Counties and States have rules about keeping wild animals as pets. A permit is often required. It would be best to inquire before you try to adopt a disabled squirrel. i had one for about 5 months and then she died

her mom got hit by a car and died so we took the baby and nursed it back to health

she was full of fleas but she was a very good pet

very energentic

she was fun to play with and didnt bite at all even though she was wild

i believ she sensed that we were taking care of her and she appricated iit.

we now feed the squrriels during the winter and they actually come up to our door and take the food from our hands

its really cool
My grandmother had one when I was a kid-- until the day it bit her for no apparent reason (other than it's a wild animal and not tame).
No i dont think they do because they are more used to living near large trees(its natural habitat)
No because its cruel they have the right to run free go with a common pet like rabbit hamster or fish
